Message: hi to all in peoria majella here from banna chluain meala clonmel, just surfing the net and i found this great site we had a trip of a lifetime in peoris this july we will never forget the greeting we got when we arrived in our bus and the families were just amasing it was great pleasure for my girls to perform to all of our american friends and a huge experience for them to perform infront of such large crowds we will never forget it thanks again and a special hello to eileen (mom) pat and kelli max and i will always have the 3 of you in our hearts all is good over here hope all is grand with mom

Judging by the fundraiser recently held here in Clonmel by Banna Cluain Meala, and performed by said band of course, with some help from the Premier Swing Band, you guys are in for a treat in July. Message: Hello from Vancouver, Canada. I and my family left Clonmel when i was five. We emigrated to Canada. Many members of my immediate family have since been back to visit over the years with our own families. Most recently in 2002. It was quite inspiring to trace my roots and show my children the place where i spent my very early childhood. Only my immediate family are in Canada all other Relatives still reside primarily in Ireland. It is true, what many say, that the pull of "Home" is still powerfull. I hope to get Home again soon.

Message: I just discovered your website and had not realized that Clonmel was twinned with Peoria. I am from Clonmel. I went to school at the Presentation Convent, and after college taught special education in Cashel for many years. Love and luck brought me to Omaha--I love the midwest-almost 30 years ago. Now that I have discovered your website I will check it out now and again.
